Denise’s Galleries
For Denise, photography has never been just about the image.
It’s about the experience behind it.
Denise’s passion for photography began long before she ever picked up a camera.
As a child, she would sit with her grandmother, watching slides from journeys through Egypt and African safaris—images that sparked curiosity, wonder, and a lifelong fascination with the world. Those evenings planted a seed that would take root decades later, eventually growing into both a passion for travel photography and the creation of Road Runner Photography Tours.
The quiet anticipation before sunrise. The patience of waiting for wildlife to reveal itself. The human connection made in a distant village. The unexpected moments that can never be staged.
Since 2013, Denise has been guiding photographers around the world, building immersive small-group experiences designed for those who learn best in the field—not in the classroom.
Her philosophy is simple:
The best photographs are earned through patience, presence, and being in the right place at the right time.
That philosophy shapes every Road Runner journey.
Many guests return again and again—not just for the destinations, but for the relationships, the trust, and the insider opportunities that often grow from those shared experiences. From private side safaris to special extensions not publicly offered, Denise believes the best adventures often begin after the itinerary ends.
Her work has been recognized internationally, including being named one of the Top 200 Women Photographers Who Inspire by Nature Photo Guides, along with features in Extraordinary Vision Magazine, Breakthrough Photography’s Guide to Night Sky Photography, and contributions to Fujifilm X/GFX USA.
For Denise, the goal has always been the same:
Help others see more, experience more, and come home with photographs—and stories—they’ll never forget.
